About this grant
The Community Foundation Network is a membership organization of community foundations in the United Kingdom. It has supported the development and expansion of community foundations over the past 19 years by providing technical assistance, training, data collection, research, marketing, financial assistance, and advocacy. Over the next two years, the grantee will focus on providing services that will generate new funding, enable more effective work through collaboration and better use of technology, and share learning within the United Kingdom and internationally. Currently, there are 57 network members covering 98 percent of the United Kingdom. Collectively, these community foundations provided approximately $90 million in grants in 2008-2009, and their endowment assets exceed $250 million.
