About this grant
Headquartered in New Orleans, the Gulf Restoration Network is a diverse partnership of citizens and organizations committed to protecting and restoring the Gulf of Mexico’s coastal lands and waters and their connected freshwater ecosystems. With previous support, the network provided members, decisionmakers, and other stakeholders with region-specific information and expertise on water quality protection, wetlands rehabilitation, and coastal restoration. With renewed support, the network will continue advancing its restoration and protection goals through a multifaceted approach that includes public education, assistance to citizen groups, opportunities for broad-based collaboration, a technical review of government policies, and the monitoring of policy implementation. The network will also continue to diversify funding and strengthen overall organizational capacity.
