About this grant
This grant will enable the Detroit Entrepreneurship Institute to provide business development services and technical assistance to individuals receiving public assistance, dislocated workers and the working poor.The mission of the institute is to alleviate poverty through entrepreneurship and economic literacy. During the past 16 years, it has consistently carried out this mission by implementing a comprehensive "one stop" approach for providing entrepreneurial training, small business development services, technical assistance, economic literacy and access to start-up capital.
