About this grant
The Committee of Voters of Ukraine mobilizes volunteers to monitor elections, promotes accountability of elected officials through public information activities, advises citizens on effective means of protecting their rights and interacting with local government, and advocates for a more open democratic process in Ukraine. This grant increase will allow the committee to provide more effective legal assistance to citizens through its citizen advice bureau network by employing a group of professional lawyers, who will establish a legal service. The service will also enable the committee to respond effectively to elections violations through litigation.
