About this grant
Impact Services Corporation is one of three sites chosen from the Fathers at Work Initiative (FWI) to serve low-income fathers who are reintegrating into families from incarceration, parole or probation. This grant will enable the organization to provide follow-up services to program participants and outcome data to the evaluation team.Specifically, funding will support activities that include providing employment training, placement and support services to low-income men already enrolled in the program; collaborating with the Domestic Relations Division of Family Court to assist with the management of participants’ child support orders; collect and transmit outcome data to Public/Private Ventures; integrating FWI services into the organization’s other workforce development programs; and seeking local funding to continue services to young fathers.During the past three years, Impact Services Corporation has provided services to 300 low-income, non-custodial fathers.
