About this grant
The Neighborhood Small Grants Network, a project of the Cleveland Foundation, is a group of 150 funders and other intermediaries that serve as resources for organizations that provide small grants, technical assistance and other tools for neighborhood change. The network was created to help community foundations work effectively at the neighborhood level by providing mutual support and capacity building assistance.Multiyear funding will enable the network to design and implement a biannual conference; convene four conference calls annually for members and others working on neighborhood issues; provide members access to national experts and resources; improve the Web site; produce a semiannual newsletter; and develop new strategies to promote the network and recruit new members. The Cleveland Foundation, the first community foundation in the United States, provides leadership to the community foundation field in critical areas such as grantmaking, asset development and community leadership.
