About this grant
Due in part to recent changes in federal rules, operators of some hydropower dams in New York are seeking to amend licenses that were issued within the past few years. New York Rivers United, the leading group in New York working on hydropower issues, will participate in the license amendment proceedings. This grant increase, and associated grant period extension, will support the group’s general purposes, including helping to cover the expenses associated with its additional hydropower work.
