About this grant
This grant increase will provide the Genesee Area Focus Council, Inc., with funds for higher-than-anticipated operating costs for the current fiscal year. The Genesee Area Focus Council, Inc.’s, mission is to convene key stakeholders in Genesee County to serve as an effective community development action group, with a primary focus on improving the economic competitiveness and the quality of life in Genesee County. Additionally, through its partnership with the Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, the Genesee Area Focus Council, Inc., is contributing to the redevelopment efforts in downtown Flint.
