About this grant
There is a need, felt both by philanthropic and grantee organizations, to periodically evaluate past and current work in any field of mutual interest. For a number of years, Mott has supported groups in the Great Lakes basin and the southeastern U.S. seeking to influence public policies in three areas: water quality, water management, and the relicensing of hydropower dams. With this grant increase, the National Wildlife Federation will lead a collaborative effort to assess progress on these three policy issues in the regions of interest to Mott.
