About this grant

The National Wildlife Federation, an environmental group with a longtime presence in the Great Lakes region, partners with state and local organizations to help implement the Clean Water Act and related policies. With this grant increase, the federation will collaborate with partners to ensure that federally funded restoration projects are coordinated in a way that results in the greatest benefits to the health of the Great Lakes. The federation will also conduct research and engage stakeholders around protecting water quality from the impacts of hydraulic fracturing in Michigan.
