About this grant
Working with the community foundations and key partners, the Council on Foundations has established a national agenda for community foundations to build the capacity of individual community foundations and increase philanthropy in American communities. The national agenda has seven priority areas of work: national community foundation standards and best practices, emerging issues and research and development, technology, organizational and professional development, accountability, marketing, and forming relationships with financial services companies. This grant increase will enable the council to be proactive in addressing top priority needs in the community foundation field.
