About this grant
The program goal is to strengthen public participation and give voice to civil society at the European Union level. During the grant period, the grantee will monitor the effects of European Union public finance on climate change, increase its outreach to the general public, and strengthen the organizational capacity and financial sustainability of the grantee and its members. The grantee’s key achievements in 2011-2012 included leading a successful campaign on mainstreaming climate change issues in European Union policies, strengthening its collaboration with peer organizations and citizens, and developing a new organizational structure and programmatic strategies. CEE Bankwatch Network is registered in the Czech Republic, and its executive director is based in Budapest, Hungary.
