About this grant
Strong leadership, organizational capacity, and networking skills are needed for organizations to successfully conserve and protect aquatic resources in the Great Lakes and southeastern United States. The Institute for Conservation Leadership strengthens the effectiveness and long-term capacity of organizations through consulting, training, coaching, and meeting facilitation. With previous support, the institute has aided groups with strategic planning, fundraising, leadership development, and board engagement. Renewal support will enable the institute to help organizations in the Great Lakes and southeastern United States focus on capacity building and enhanced leadership skills, while allowing the institute to further develop its own internal capacity and program development.
