About this grant
The Institute for Conservation Leadership builds the capacity of environmental organizations through consulting, training, coaching, meeting facilitation, and research to help groups more effectively accomplish their missions. With previous support, the institute has helped strengthen organizations in the Great Lakes and Southeast that are focused on freshwater issues through help with strategic planning, fundraising, leadership development, and board engagement. With renewed support, the institute will use these capacity-building tools to help organizations adapt to the changing economic environment with a focus on strengthening leadership teams, fundraising capabilities, and the strategic use of volunteers.
