About this grant

This grant provides partial support to the Twenty-First Century Foundation for its Engaging Black Donors in Philanthropy initiative, a program that connects African-American assets with black-led charities. The initiative will continue to promote strategic giving in the African-American community with a new focus on targeted messages and an enhanced level of individual cultivation. During this grant period, the Twenty-First Century Foundation will focus its efforts on a targeted donor education and marketing campaign to include a quarterly e-newsletter and the launch of a Black Philanthropy Index surveying priorities for giving and action for its donor constituency.
