About this grant
The Southern African NGO Network was established to provide affordable and accessible electronic communication, information and networking services to the nonprofit sector. Recently, the network developed a central case management system and database for the paralegal sector to assist in its advocacy work with the government.Multiyear funding will enable the network to continue providing services, as well as train paralegals on Internet research and data input skills for use on the online database that has been developed. Specific activities will include training target groups in the use of the system; demonstrating the system to relevant stakeholders; seeking feedback through outreach programs; using the data generated from outreach programs to modify and enhance the system; and exploring ways to make the system accessible in areas that have insufficient technology.
