About this grant
The Diversified Business Consulting Group managed the planning and logistical work involved in the 2001 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Summer Institutes. The purpose of the three-day conference was to provide workshops to familiarize grant recipients with grant administration assistance and strategies in implementing reading and evaluation components of the program.Funding will enable the the group to organize the 2003 21st CCLC Summer Institute which will give grantees an opportunity to learn from exemplary programs that provide high-quality enrichment activities. Attendees will include representatives from grantee organizations, former 21st CCLC grantees that are still operating afterschool programs, other afterschool providers, and representatives from organizations that administer or support afterschool programs.
