About this grant
This grant will enable Synergy Enterprises to provide logistical and conference support to the 2005 21st Century Community Learning Centers Summer Institute in Chicago. The purpose of the institute is to help federal grant recipients improve the content, management and quality of service delivery of afterschool programs. Workshops provide grant administration assistance and strategies to project directors, site coordinators, and other grant staff or volunteers working in afterschool programs.The 2005 Institute will focus on academic programs offered after school, including but not limited to the areas of reading, mathematics, science, art and technology. Participants will also be able to network with other grantees and gain perspective on afterschool issues and the growth of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.Synergy Enterprises specializes in providing conference planning, publications and graphic design, technical assistance, and training in the fields of health, education and communication.
