About this grant
This grant will support the development of the nonprofit sector in southern Croatia by developing the human and organizational capacities of volunteer-based nonprofit organizations. During the next two years, the association will work to increase the professionalism of leaders of non-governmental organizations, encourage cross-sector partnerships, and promote volunteerism and greater citizen participation in the sector and community life. Over the past two years, the association has increased outreach to organizations and communities in the counties surrounding the city of Split, where the association is based, and has worked with the local governments in three cities to establish cross-sector cooperation. The Association "Mi" has encouraged volunteerism and supported the nonprofit sector locally and nationally through various activities since its founding in 1996.
