About this grant
The Global Philanthropy Forum is a project of the World Affairs Council of Northern California. The forum’s mission is to build a community of donors and social investors committed to international causes and to inform, enable, and enhance the strategic nature of their work. Forum services include an annual conference, learning events in the San Francisco Bay Area, online resources, and connecting donors with recipients. Over the past several years, the forum has established partnerships and helped organize gatherings of philanthropists in Brazil and Africa. In 2016-2017, the forum will host annual conferences in the Bay Area and provide other learning and partnering opportunities. It will co-organize annual conferences of the Africa and Brazil Philanthropy Fora. The World Affairs Council of Northern California is a nonprofit, nonpartisan educational organization devoted to engaging the public in a discussion of the transnational issues of tomorrow.
