About this grant

The Tennessee Clean Water Network is a statewide organization that works at the local and state levels to promote the adoption and implementation of clean water policies. With prior Mott support, the network has worked to put in place programs that protect relatively pristine waterways and clean up polluted ones; monitor state agency implementation of such water quality policies; and provide training and technical assistance to local watershed groups. With this grant, the network will continue such program efforts while also working to build its own organizational capacity by diversifying its funding sources, improving its external communications, and other means.
