About this grant
The Great Lakes Revolving Loan Fund provides short-term financing required for the acquisition, either in fee or by conservation easement, of ecologically significant freshwater sites in the U.S. portion of the Great Lakes. Since its inception in 2001, the fund has assisted in the protection of at least 7,350 acres in eight land acquisitions valued in excess of $43 million. This grant increase will build the corpus of the fund.
