About this grant

The Great Lakes Revolving Loan Fund provides short-term financing for the protection of ecologically significant freshwater sites in the U.S. portion of the Great Lakes basin. Since its inception in 2001, and with Mott support, the fund has helped protect 13,839 acres valued at $49.8 million. This grant increase will build the fund’s corpus. The Conservation Fund is an organization that uses revolving loan funds as a primary strategy to conserve land and water resources nationwide.
