About this grant
This renewal grant will enable the National League of Cities Institute to help municipal leaders integrate citywide and regional children’s savings account initiatives into their college readiness, access, and success programming. The overall goal of this project is to establish a strong set of city-level examples that illustrate the potential of children’s savings accounts as a promising component of comprehensive efforts to increase postsecondary success. Established in 1958 and located in Washington, D.C., the grantee is a research, education, and training affiliate of the National League of Cities.
