About this grant
George Washington University produced a book, "Organizing Access to Capital: Advocacy and the Democratization of Financial Institutions," which documents the role of community organizing and advocacy in attempts to revitalize urban neighborhoods and spark reinvestment in distressed communities. This grant increase will support a dissemination strategy that includes two book briefings (one in Washington, D.C. and one in Chicago), as well as a C-Span segment.
