About this grant

Mott’s Intermediary Support for Organizing (ISO) program has been in existence for nearly two decades. Several evaluations have been conducted during this time, each resulting in a refining and strengthening of the program.Funding will support efforts to build on previous evaluations to develop a better assessment of the program’s effectiveness. Evaluation goals include assessing ISO performance on established outreach and selection standards; analyzing ISO performance on established measures of the training and technical assistance provided to the sub-grantees; creating a plan for ongoing standardized assessment of the ISO system’s processes and outcomes; publishing documentation about the sustainability of community-based organizations served by the ISOs; and finalizing the existing database of organizational profiles through 2004 for Mott.
