About this grant

This grant increase will allow MicroMentor, an online mentoring program for low-income entrepreneurs, to leverage additional funding and expand its services to 16 micro-enterprise programs, located in eight states. Mott partially funded the 2002 pilot project to develop the program. The long-term vision for MicroMentor, coordinated by the Aspen Institute, is to use Internet technology to connect disadvantaged business owners with in-depth, industry-specific business development assistance to help grow their businesses.
