About this grant

International financial institutions, both public and private, play a key role in financing energy and infrastructure projects around the world that will have important impacts on the environment. With this grant increase, Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide will continue to provide legal, scientific, technical, and organizational support to its network of local leaders, who are monitoring and analyzing energy and infrastructure investments. Support will target leaders in emerging economies such as Brazil, China, India, and South Africa and will provide them with the tools they need to address the priorities and impacts of new dynamics in global finance. This grant increase will enable the grantee to provide a training internship for a young advocate working on international environmental advocacy in Colombia.
