About this grant
Clean Wisconsin is a leader on statewide environmental issues in Wisconsin and has had a sustained interest in maintaining the health of the Great Lakes for many years. With previous Mott support, the grantee worked to support a comprehensive regional policy for managing Great Lakes water withdrawals and diversions that resulted in the passage of the Great Lakes Compact. Clean Wisconsin is now turning its attention to ensuring full implementation of the compact as well as the development and implementation of related state-level policies to protect groundwater resources and promote water conservation at the municipal level.
