About this grant
In June 2001, the Great Lakes governors and Canadian provincial premiers signed an annex to the Great Lakes Charter, termed Annex 2001, which sets the principles for a new and uniform water management system for the basin. Because the development of the implementation plan has taken longer than originally anticipated, this grant increase and grant period extension will allow Environmental Advocates of New York to continue its various public education and outreach efforts to cultivate support for effective implementation of Annex 2001.
