This grant will enable the Borderland Foundation to continue its cross-border efforts by enhancing multicultural understanding and exchange through the region of Central/Eastern Europe (CEE) and the former Soviet Union. In addition, the foundation plans a yearlong program entitled, "Bosnian Triptych" to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre.Recent achievements included establishing an endowment fund; connecting organizations working on multicultural heritage with CEE/Russia and other countries through the Glass Bead Game program; developing the International Centre for Dialogue in Krasnogruda; recognizing individuals who contributed to positive cross-border relations; organizing conferences and seminars; and receiving international recognition through the media.
