About this grant
The Charities Aid Foundation-Southern Africa promotes corporate and individual philanthropy and giving in South Africa and the broader southern African region. Mott has provided support to encourage the growth of corporate philanthropy and develop workplace giving in South Africa. This renewal grant will continue to provide institutional support to the organization to implement its various programs and projects in South Africa, which mainly involve mobilizing resources for the benefit of the nonprofit sector in the country. During the grant period, the grantee will also look at establishing an endowment fund to ensure its longer-term sustainability. Charities Aid Foundation-Southern Africa is part of Charities Aid Foundation-United Kingdom, which has provided an endowment challenge grant that Charities Aid Foundation-Southern Africa needs to match from local funders in South Africa and the region.
