Mulityear funding will enable the Crim to target community involvement toward minorities, youth and the elderly; ensure that event, outreach and development activities are aimed at school-age youth and the African-American community in Genesee County; work to build new support and solidify current sponsors; and recruit new volunteers, as well as work to improve the capacity and expertise of existing volunteers. The Crim’s mission is to support programs and activities that promote healthy lifestyle choices and community participation.
