About this grant
The Michigan chapter of the Nature Conservancy, an international conservation organization, recently completed a multiyear project that protected more than 270,000 acres of forest land in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This grant increase supports the conservancy’s efforts to document and celebrate the completion of the project — the largest single such endeavor in the state’s history — through a variety of means including a major event for project stakeholders and an educational video.
