About this grant
This grant will continue to support the United Way of Rhode Island to further the Rhode Island Statewide Afterschool Network, a statewide afterschool network expanding and supporting high quality afterschool programs so that Rhode Island’s children are safe, supervised, and prepared to lead productive lives. This grantee is part of the first cohort of Mott-funded statewide afterschool networks. This renewal is an achievement grant, which continues to provide core support to the network, while also encouraging new ideas designed to align and integrate afterschool and education systems. Each network receiving an achievement grant is expected to share lessons learned and products with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
