About this grant
The Ekopolis Foundation’s project goal is to strengthen the financial stability of the Environmental Partnership for Sustainable Development member organizations. To this end, the partnership members from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia will conduct fundraising campaigns in their respective countries as well as a joint international campaign with the goal of raising over $1.6 million for their endowments and reserve funds during 2007-2010. Members of the Environmental Partnership for Sustainable Development provide grants and capacity-building services to nonprofits in their respective countries. At the beginning of 2007, their collective endowment had reached $7 million.
