About this grant

Through this grant, Jewish Vocational Services (JVS) will continue participating in a random assignment performance evaluation of the impact of sectoral employment training in the office services industry on the employment, job retention and earnings of low-income workers. JVS began taking part in the study in 2003.Funding will enable JVS to complete enrollments, with 225 in the treatment group and 225 in the control group; finish training activities for three class cycles; provide job-search training and placement assistance to all training enrollees, including those not completing training; and offering follow-up services to all participants.
