About this grant
This grant will provide renewal support to the Center for Law and Social Policy for its Leading Edge States Project. Within the context of state workforce development and welfare programs, a key objective of this project is to promote the most promising strategies for improving the economic well-being of low-income families and their children. The grantee will help states and other governments adopt these approaches through technical assistance, convening, research, and policy analysis activities. The Center for Law and Social Policy is a 30-year-old national research and public policy organization which produces policy analysis and offers technical assistance on a range of issues, including welfare reform and workforce development.
