About this grant
During the past decade, the Open Society Foundation has played an important role as a supporter of political, economic and social reforms in Slovakia and has funded several important projects, including judiciary reform and voter education programs.Multiyear funding will enable the foundation to increase organizational capacity and strengthen financial stability. Activities will include initiating a complex capacity- and skill-building program; organizing study trips to visit organizations with similar missions in and beyond Central/Eastern Europe and Russia; hiring an experienced fundraiser; identifying potential donors; and improving asset management through training and the formation of an investment committee.The Open Society Foundation was established in 1992 to promote the principles of an open society.
