About this grant
The Michigan Land Use Institute has been working since the mid-1990s to promote land-use policy reform through its research, communications and coalition-building efforts. The institute’s work has helped to foster implementation of some measures recommended by the bipartisan Michigan Land Use Leadership Council. However, only initial reforms have been enacted and much work remains to be done to achieve substantive change. During the next 18 months, Michigan Land Use Institute will continue to inform growth management policy discussions through high quality research, communications and coalition-building efforts with key stakeholders across the state.
