About this grant
The Southern African NGO Network was founded in 1987 to provide information communication technologies products and services to civil society organizations in South Africa. It strengthens the civil society sector by making information communication technologies accessible and affordable for nonprofit organizations working to effect social change. The NGO Pulse is a platform used by nonprofits to share knowledge, make information accessible, and connect with other organizations on issues of common interest to strengthen the role of civil society organizations. Past support enabled the network to expand and diversify its services to nonprofits, create an online support facility accessible to all nonprofit organizations, and partner with other organizations on various projects to improve access to information on civil society organizations. This grant will allow the grantee to continue to connect civil society organizations, provide information communication technology solutions for nonprofits, make information available on development issues, and provide an online platform for dialogue on topical issues affecting civil society in the country.
