About this grant

The Community Assessment Tool Bag was developed by the Center for Assessment and Policy Development to help organizations and communities that are engaged in efforts to reduce the current and cumulative effects of racism. To this end, the center created the Evaluation Tools for Racial Equity Web site to enable groups to self-assess their progress toward antiracism and inclusion.Multiyear funding will enable the enable the center to develop a companion Web site – with guidance from people involved in community antiracism work – that will focus on community change strategies to reduce racism. The site will be organized to provide easy access to its contents, including tip sheets, stories and evidence about the effectiveness of various strategies and promising practices.
