About this grant
This grant will support the Connecticut After School Network to continue development of policy, partnerships, and funding to benefit youth in afterschool programs. Specific initiatives will include: 1) increasing communications activities to build public awareness about the importance of afterschool; 2) developing a comprehensive plan to increase resources for afterschool programs; 3) expanding training content and resource materials on social-emotional learning, mental health, and parent engagement; and 4) participating in the development and distribution of new afterschool program content in collaboration with the Foundation’s thematic partners.
