About this grant
With partial Mott support over several years, the Nature Conservancy, a global conservation organization, has increased its capacity to engage in freshwater conservation in the southeastern United States, yielding positive conservation gains at dozens of freshwater sites. With this grant increase, and associated grant period extension, the conservancy will: implement freshwater conservation strategies at several sites; close out work at sites where Mott-supported work is no longer necessary; and operate a regional network of freshwater conservation staff.
