About this grant
This renewal grant will provide support for the Flint Regional Science Fair, a volunteer-led organization that provides K-12 students in an eight-county area the opportunity to develop their scientific and engineering talents. Founded in 1956 as part of the Foundation-funded community education program of the Flint Community Schools, a varied funding base of individual sponsorships, business donations, and private philanthropy keeps the fair operating and covers the costs of student scholarships and prizes.
