About this grant

Alternative staffing services connect disadvantaged workers with temporary and temporary-to-permanent employment. Goodwill Temporary Services has been providing transitional employment services for low-income and disabled people in central Texas since 1995.Funding will enable Goodwill Temporary Services to expand employer contracts in the private sector; increase employment placements by 31,250 hours; establish a Web presence; and increase revenues. The University of Massachusetts-Boston will monitor and evaluate the implementation of this project through site visits, quarterly reports and interviews.Goodwill Temporary Services is a nonprofit, alternative staffing organization that specializes in placing people with disabilities into employment throughout central Texas.
