About this grant
United Way of Genesee County supports a network of local nonprofit human service organizations. This general purpose renewal grant will enable it to continue funding community programs that serve the needs of over 35,000 area residents. The United Way of Genesee County is transitioning to align with the national funding priority areas which include education, health, and income stability. Additionally, it will fund programs in the area of basic needs. The grantee also administers several projects (including the BEST capacity building project), participates in numerous collaboratives, and serves as fiscal sponsor for several area programs.
