General Purposes

About this grant

This grant will enable the National Association of Regional Development Agencies to promote modern, sustainable community and regional development policies by building the capacities of its member organizations; strengthening the network of regional and local development agencies in the Ukraine; and advocating for policy improvements at the national, regional and local levels. Planned activities over the next three years include organizing training workshops and policy feedback meetings, commissioning and publishing research papers, conducting annual forums for members, maintaining an Internet portal, and arranging study tours for members both within Ukraine and abroad.The mission of the association is to contribute to the development of civil society in Ukraine by establishing long-lasting institutional mechanisms aimed at further advancement of key European principles such as partnership and decentralization.
