About this grant
Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council works with partner groups to promote comprehensive water management policy reform in Michigan. Recently, the council participated in educational efforts that helped lay the groundwork for a new state law addressing many key water policy issues. This grant increase, and associated grant period extension, will enable the council to complete policy analysis and public communication materials on a range of water management topics still facing the state, including ratification of the Great Lakes Compact.
