Funding Strategies for Statewide Afterschool Networks

About this grant

This grant will enable the Finance Project to continue its efforts to expand the capacity of the afterschool field in developing and sustaining quality programs. This will primarily be done by developing tools and technical assistance resources to facilitate improved sustainability and financing at the state and local levels. Specifically, the project will provide technical assistance to the statewide afterschool networks around finance, sustainability, governance, strategy development and implementation; offer targeted technical assistance to individual state networks focused on their unique sustainability efforts; and support the development of the afterschool field by convening stakeholders and disseminating best practices.The Finance Project is a part of the Afterschool Technical Assistance Collaborative, a consortium of national organizations working to support the statewide afterschool networks.
